The 3 stages will show the following characteristics according to the different types of batteries and different stages of charging.
1.Taking lead-acid batteries as an example, the first stage is called “bulk absorption”; charging the battery with a high and constant current and charging the battery at the fastest speed. The battery will reach more than half of its capacity at this stage.
2.Entering the second stage, the charging voltage will remain high and constant and is limited by the capacity of the charger. When the voltage remains constant,the output current will drop at the maintained voltage, allowing the battery to fully absorb power and protect the battery from the impact of the charging current.
3.Entering the third stage, when the battery is charged to 99%, the charger will intelligently switch to floating charge mode. At this time, it is mainly to keep the battery fully charged, effectively protect the battery and extend the battery life. When the battery itself is damaged, the charger will replenish the battery’s lost power.
